Terms & conditions

The rules that apply to every booking made with SimFire Academy. Please read them before you book.

1. Age and supervision

  1. SimFire Academy must comply with current UK law regarding the use of airsoft replicas by minors. Therefore anybody under the age of 18 years old must be supervised whilst using one by an appropriate adult.
  2. We at SimFire Academy have set a minimum age of 12 years old for participants. This is in line with the majority of other sites currently operating in the UK. However, they must have a parent or guardian with them during their allotted time slot.

2. Payment

  1. All bookings made must be paid for in advance.

3. Cancellations and refunds

  1. Any cancellations will be refunded in full minus an admin fee of 10%, provided that any cancellation is made at least 48 hours before the allocated time slot.
  2. Any cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice will result in a forfeit of full payment.
  3. SimFire Academy reserves the right to cancel any booking and will refund all monies in full.

4. Damage to equipment

  1. Any damages of equipment or related equipment must be paid for. This will be a condition of entry for all clients. With regard to parents or guardians who are supervising a person under the age of 18, they will be financially responsible for any damage caused by the minor.

5. Conduct and safety

  1. All participants must attend the safety brief before handling any equipment, and must follow all range commands and instructions given by SimFire Academy staff at all times.
  2. SimFire Academy may refuse entry to, or remove from the range, any person who does not follow the safety rules or whose behaviour puts themselves or others at risk. No refund is given in these circumstances.

6. Venues

  1. SimFire Academy is a mobile operation and does not have its own premises. Sessions take place at a venue arranged by the client. Any hire arrangement must be made with the venue owner's permission, and it is the client's responsibility to obtain that permission before confirming a booking.
  2. SimFire Academy may decline to operate at a venue it considers unsuitable or unsafe. Where this is identified in advance, the booking may be rescheduled or refunded in full.
  3. Sessions start at the allocated time. Where access to the venue is delayed by the client or the venue, the time available may be reduced accordingly, and this does not entitle the client to an extension or a refund.
