What we do
Three ways onto the range
Never held anything before, or you do this for a living — there's a session built for your level. Every one of them starts with the same safety brief.
Corporate & groups
Team-building people actually talk about afterwards. Scored team competitions, birthdays, stag and hen parties, up to ten people. We run the format and the scoreboard, at your venue — you just pick a date.
One-to-one training
Undivided instructor attention on your fundamentals — grip, stance, sight picture, trigger control, draw and presentation — measured on every rep and debriefed properly. From £75 an hour.
The technology
Live scoring on every single shot
Our scenarios are projected life-size onto a screen or wall at your venue. The system reads exactly where your shot landed, how long it took and whether you should have taken it at all.
Time. Score. Hits. Misses. There is nowhere to hide behind a good day — you get an objective number at the end of every drill, and a number to beat next time. That feedback loop is what makes people improve fast.
Targets react, appear and disappear. No-shoot targets punish a rushed decision. The clock keeps running. It's a very different thing from standing still and punching holes in paper — and there's nothing else quite like it in East Sussex.
The kit
It handles like the real thing
We run non-lethal airsoft replica pistols and rifles fitted with infrared laser barrels and attachments — full size, full weight, correct trigger, correct controls, with recoil on every shot so the action cycles and you have to manage it. The blue slide is the giveaway: these are purpose-built training platforms, and they cannot chamber or fire a live round.

How it works
From booking to debrief

Book and pay online
Pick your session length and group size, and send us the enquiry. All bookings are paid for in advance — we'll confirm your slot and send you everything you need to know beforehand.

We arrive and set up
We turn up ahead of your slot and set the simulator up at your venue. Everyone then gets the safety brief and the range rules before any equipment is handled.

Kit up and zero
Training pistol in hand. Your instructor covers stance, grip, sight picture and trigger control, then gets you comfortable on static targets before the clock goes on.

Run the scenarios
The bit you came for. Timed drills, reactive targets and scenario runs — scored, coached and repeated until the standard climbs.
5
Debrief
Your scores, what worked, what didn't and exactly what to work on next time. Everyone leaves knowing where they stand.

Under 18s must be supervised
SimFire Academy complies with current UK law on the use of airsoft replicas by minors. Anybody under the age of 18 must be supervised while using one by an appropriate adult, and a parent or guardian must be with them for their whole allotted time slot.
Minimum age 12
We've set a minimum age of 12 for participants, in line with the majority of other sites currently operating in the UK.

Before you book
Do I need any experience?
None at all. Most people who book a session have never handled anything like this before. Your instructor takes you from the very basics before anything gets competitive.
Are these real firearms?
No. We use non-lethal airsoft replica pistols and rifles fitted with infrared laser barrels. They're realistic in weight, handling, trigger and recoil, which is exactly what makes the training transfer — but nothing leaves the muzzle, and no ammunition of any kind is carried or permitted at any session.
How old do I have to be?
Our minimum age is 12. Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who stays with them for the whole allotted time slot — that's a legal requirement around supervision, not just house policy.
How do I pay, and can I cancel?
All bookings are paid for in advance. Cancel at least 48 hours before your slot and you'll be refunded in full minus a 10% admin fee. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice forfeit the full payment. If we ever have to cancel your booking, you're refunded in full. Full terms here.
Where do sessions take place?
At a venue you arrange. We're a mobile operation and don't have our own premises, so we bring the simulator and all the equipment to you. Any hire arrangement needs to be made with the venue owner's permission — ask us first if you're unsure whether a room will work.
How many of us can come?
Anything from one person up to a group of ten. Pricing scales with group size and session length — have a look at the price list.
