Welcome to SimFire Academy, where our aim is to bring recreational shooting to the masses.
Introducing SimFire Academy
Recreational shooting, brought to everyone
We achieve that through our state-of-the-art laser simulator and realistic, recoil-enabled, non-lethal airsoft replica pistols and rifles — fitted with infrared laser barrels and attachments.
You don't need any prior shooting experience to use our system. Help and advice will always be available, from the first time you pick anything up to the last shot of the session.
We have a number of different shooting challenges to choose from, ranging from basic plinking through to dynamic shooting at reactive targets — so a complete beginner and someone who has done it a hundred times can both get something out of the same session.
How we operate
We bring it to you
SimFire Academy is currently a mobile operation — we don't have our own premises. The whole set-up travels, so your event happens where you want it to.

You clear it with the venue
Any hire arrangement needs to be made with the venue owner's permission. Get that agreed before you book with us and everything else is straightforward.

We do the rest
We arrive, set up the simulator, brief everyone, run the session and pack it all away again. You don't have to organise anything on the day.

Wedding evenings
Something for the evening guests that isn't another round at the bar — and that the whole spread of ages can join in with.
Birthday parties
Ages 12 and up, so it works for a teenager's birthday as easily as a fortieth. Under-18s need a parent or guardian with them.
Stag & hen parties
A competitive hour or two before the rest of the day starts. Everyone can take part and nobody needs to be sporty.
Corporate events
Team days, away days, client entertaining and staff incentives — scored properly, with a leaderboard and a winner.
Group and individual training
Marksmanship training, tailored to you
In addition to our recreational laser shooting options, we also offer marksmanship training sessions specifically tailored to an individual or a group's needs.
Because every shot is scored automatically, coaching is based on what actually happened rather than on what anyone thinks they saw. You get numbers, a clear picture of where you're losing points, and something concrete to work on.

What we stand by
Four things we don't compromise on
Safety first, always
Nobody handles equipment before the safety brief. An instructor is present throughout. Nothing we use can chamber or fire a live round, and no ammunition comes with us.
Compliance, not interpretation
We follow current UK law on the supervision of airsoft replicas by minors to the letter, and we set our own minimum age at 12 rather than pushing the limit.
Measured, not guessed
Every shot is scored by the simulator. Feedback is based on the data, not on opinion — so you leave knowing exactly where you stand.
Open to everyone
No experience required, no equipment to buy, no club membership, no licence. Twelve years old and up, and the same welcome whoever picks it up.
