Who we are
SimFire Academy operates the website at simfireacademy.com. If you have any question about this policy or about the information we hold on you, contact us at hello@simfireacademy.com.
What we collect
When you send a booking enquiry through this website, we collect:
- Your name
- Your email address
- Your phone number
- The details of the booking you're asking about — type, group size, session length, preferred date and time
- Anything you choose to tell us in the message box
- Whether your group includes anyone under 18
We also record the date and time the enquiry was submitted, and the IP address it was sent from, purely to help us deal with spam and abuse.
Why we collect it
We use these details for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry, arrange your booking and contact you about that booking. The lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and our legitimate interest in responding to people who contact us.
We do not use your details for marketing unless you separately ask us to, and we do not sell or share your details with anyone for their own marketing.
Who sees it
Enquiries are sent by email to SimFire Academy and are read by us only. Our website and email are hosted by Fasthosts Internet Limited, who process the data on our behalf as our hosting provider.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as we need them to deal with your booking and any follow-up, and are then deleted. If you'd like us to delete your details sooner, just ask.
Cookies
This website does not set any tracking or advertising cookies, and does not use third-party analytics. Your browser may store standard technical information required to display the site, and we load our display typeface from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when the page loads.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to us processing it, and to withdraw your consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email hello@simfireacademy.com.
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
